USA’s Most Socially Active Legal & Law Professionals – July 2020

We conducted research on LinkedIn that analysed the social media activity of employees from some of the biggest law firms in the US.

Leveraging employees’ networks on social media is a vastly untapped resource for marketing teams across the globe. As employees have a cumulative reach that is, on average, ten times that of their employer’s company page, failing to utilise this is a huge missed opportunity.

However, some firms across the US are doing an exceptional job of this, and the June – July report for US law firms found that the average number of employees who share to LinkedIn is around 8.6%.

Companies that roll out formal employee advocacy programs with DSMN8 typically see 30-40% of their employees sharing their company content to social on a monthly basis, with some accounts seeing as high as 70%.
