In 2016 LinkedIn and Microsoft signed an agreement, which effectively meant that the computer tech giants had acquired the social channel for somewhere in the region of $26 billion. Naturally we would love to have included a number with that sort of weight in our statistical roundup for 2017 but it happened just too soon… selfish.
However, that’s not to say that 2017 hasn’t been a bumper year for big figures at LinkedIn, as we’ll shortly show you. Take for example the milestone of breaking the 500 million user threshold, that’s up from around 100 million in 2015.
